About me
I have always loved photographs — the moments they hold and the stories they quietly tell. Images mark time, anchoring us to what was, what is, and what we remember. We all begin somewhere, and we all travel to new places along the way.
This is my story!
Where it all began...
It all began when I was twelve, when my parents gave me a small film camera for my birthday. From the moment I looked through the viewfinder, I was hooked.
I spent hours photographing landscapes and nature, learning to see light, shape and detail in the world around me. That early curiosity quickly grew into a love of exploring many different genres, each one teaching me something new about storytelling, patience and observation.
What started as simple fascination became a lifelong way of seeing — one that continues to shape my work today.
Would you believe.....I still have prints of those first photographs from the 90s!!

From Hobbyist to Pro Photographer
My professional career began at the age of 19 and spanned many years. I documented weddings, families, portraits and the deeply emotional experience of childbirth.
My work has been recognised across the globe with numerous international awards, including a suite of Australian, international and state titles. My images can be found in published media globally from magazines, print and online media around the world, including interview features on .
Alongside these accomplishments, I am also an experienced professional photography judge, having served on international judging panels in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe and United States.
These experiences have shaped not only shaped my technical skill, but guided my understanding of storytelling, intention and visual impact.
The Newest Chapter - Life after Pro
Today, my photographic journey continues in a quieter and deeply rewarding chapter.
Alongside working professionally in marketing & business development, the camera has become a companion rather than a commitment — something I return to for curiosity, stillness and joy.
Free from expectation or schedule, I photograph in my own time, drawn to moments that invite me to slow down and truly see.
This next phase is about appreciation rather than achievement, presence rather than pace — a chance to wander, observe and reconnect with the simple pleasure of getting lost behind the lens as the journey continues.
A quiet commitment to seeing the unseen, and staying present in the moment.
